Scholarship Amount
Degree Students
- ₹50,000 per year.

Maximum duration:
- 4 years for first-year B.Tech/B.E. admissions.
- 3 years for lateral entry students.
Diploma Students
- ₹30,000 per year.

Maximum duration:
- 3 years for first-year diploma admissions.
- 2 years for lateral entry students.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, a student must:
- Be admitted to the 1st year of an eligible degree or diploma programme, or 2nd year through lateral entry.
- Study in an AICTE-approved institution.
- Have an annual family income not exceeding ₹8 lakh.
- Meet the merit criteria prescribed by AICTE. Selection is based primarily on marks in the qualifying examination and is prepared on a State/UT-wise merit list.

Every year AICTE awards:
- 2,593 Degree scholarships
- 2,607 Diploma scholarships
Kerala Allocation
For Kerala, the current allocation is:
- Degree: 74 scholarships
- Diploma: 55 scholarships
